「由五因故至能令心狂」者，此下釋第二、第三句。總由五因，有情心狂。此即初因。「一由惡業感惡異熟，依此異熟能令心狂。」餘文可知。

"Due to five causes... can cause the mind to be mad": from here down explains the second and third lines. In total, due to five causes, sentient beings' minds become mad. This is the first cause: "First, due to bad karma bringing about a bad ripening, and based on this ripening, it can cause the mind to be mad." The rest of the text is evident.
