15.88

「三由相續至所依變故」者，第三二形捨，由相續身二形俱生故，由依身變故心亦隨變。又二形者，非增上故，能捨惡戒。又《正理》云「然二形生捨善、惡戒，二依貪欲極增上故。非成扇搋等捨善、惡律儀，起二依貪非極重故。」

"Third, through the mental continuum [...] because the physical basis transforms" means: third, relinquishment through two sexual organs occurs because both sexual organs arise together in the continuum of the body; because the physical basis transforms, the mind also transforms accordingly. Moreover, because one with two sexual organs is not superior, [such an arising] can relinquish bad discipline. Furthermore, the Nyāyānusāra states: "However, the arising of two sexual organs relinquishes both wholesome and bad discipline because the lust based on both is exceedingly intense. It is not that becoming a ṣaṇḍha and so forth relinquishes wholesome or bad discipline, because the lust based on the two [organs] does not arise in an exceedingly heavy manner."
