「即斷道中至謂除異熟」者，釋第三、第四句。是無漏故除異熟果，有餘四果。准前有漏解釋可知。

[On the phrase] “Within the path of severance … that is, excluding retribution”: this explains the third and fourth lines. Because it is outflow-free, it excludes the retributive result, having the remaining four results. It can be known by analogy with the previous explanation of [the path] with-outflows.
