「若於善田至招非愛果」者，此下第九明果由內心。問：善田植施可招愛果，以田勝故。惡田雖施，應招非愛，以田惡故。此即問起。

"If in a good field ... bringing about an undesirable result": below this is the ninth section, clarifying that the result depends on the inner mind. Question: Planting gifts in a good field can bring about a desirable result because the field is superior. Even though one gives to a bad field, it should bring about an undesirable [result] because the field is bad. This raises the question.
