18.63

「諸無間同類至非無間生」者，答。諸無間業同類，亦定生地獄。有餘師說：無間同類雖定生地獄，非要無間即生地獄，以通順後及不定故。故《正理》云「諸無間同類亦定生彼，非定無間生，非無間業故。」

Regarding the passage from "All analogues of the immediate [retribution sins]" up to "do not immediately take birth [there]": this is the reply. All analogues of immediate [retribution] karma also definitely result in rebirth in hell. Other masters say: although analogues of the immediate [retribution sins] definitely lead to rebirth in hell, it is not necessary that they immediately take birth in hell, because they can be experienced in subsequent lives or are indeterminate. Hence the *Nyāyānusāra* states: "All analogues of the immediate [retribution sins] are also definitely born there, but they are not definitely born immediately, because they are not immediate [retribution] karma."
