「今我大師至七千佛」者，此下第三明佛頭數。就中，一明供養佛數、二明逢佛名字。此即第一明供養佛數。於三劫中，後位漸勝故供養佛多，前位劣後故供養佛少。餘文可知。

Regarding "Now, our Great Teacher ... seven thousand buddhas": Below, this third section clarifies the count of buddhas. Over the three eons, the later stages are progressively superior, hence more buddhas are made offerings to, whereas the earlier stages are inferior to the later, hence fewer buddhas are made offerings to.
