"All extend to abandonment by both seeing and cultivation" is the answer. All these seven conceits extend to abandonment by both seeing and cultivation. As appropriate, those having what is abandoned by seeing as their object are abandoned by seeing; those having empirical things as their object are abandoned by cultivation. It should be known that all seven conceits extend to the three realms; therefore, Mahāvibhāṣā, fascicle 43, states: "Evaluation: It should be stated thus: it is not the case that the conceit of inferiority and the like must arise by comparing and inferring the superiority or inferiority of others; because of the force of habitual practice from beginningless time, even when born into the higher realms they still become active; therefore, all three realms possess the seven conceits."
