19.12

「頌曰至為遮解脫想」者，上一句正答，下三句立有貪所以。就下三句中，第一句有貪上二界，為異經部等，經部等言有貪亦通欲界。又解：別顯有貪名異別標。欲界名欲貪，義准可解，故不別說。或自名顯，故不別說。第二句於內門轉故，所以不名欲貪。第三句為遮解脫想，所以名有貪。

Regarding "The verse says: [...] to counter the notion of liberation": the first line directly answers; the lower three lines state the reason for establishing attachment to existence (bhava-rāga). Within the lower three lines, the first line states that attachment to existence belongs to the upper two realms, in order to differentiate from the Sautrāntika and others; the Sautrāntika and others say that attachment to existence also extends to the desire realm. Another explanation: it specifically shows that attachment to existence has a different name and is specifically designated. In the desire realm it is called sensual attachment (kāma-rāga); since this can be understood by analogy, it is not separately stated; or because its own name makes it clear, it is not separately stated. The second line states that because it operates internally, it is not called sensual attachment. The third line states that in order to counter the notion of liberation, it is called attachment to existence.
