「謂問記門總有四種」者，論主因答此問，總明四種。記之言答，下皆准此。謂問答門總有四種。

[On the phrase] “Namely, there are four ways of answering questions in total”: Through answering this question, the treatise master clarifies the four kinds in summary. The word “declaration” (vyākaraṇa) means “answer”, and the following should all be understood in this way. That is, there are four ways of questioning and answering in total.
