「如有請言至豈非記道」者，答。謂如有人請言：為我說其道路。豈非問道？即由反詰，記彼所問。道有眾多，謂洛陽道、益州道、欲說何者？豈非記道。或由反詰記彼所問：道有眾多，欲說何者？豈非記道。

On the passage from "For instance, if someone requests" to "is it not answering regarding the road?": an answer. It means: for instance, if someone requests, "Tell me the road," is this not asking about the road? Then, by counter-questioning, one answers what they asked: "Roads are manifold—the road to Luoyang, the road to Yizhou—which one do you wish to speak of?" Is this not answering about the road? Or, by counter-questioning, one answers what they asked: "Roads are manifold; which one do you wish to speak of?" Is this not answering about the road?
