「二隨增者至增惛滯故」者，此釋隨義。二隨增者，一能隨於所緣法增惛滯故、二能隨於所相應法增惛滯故。惛滯謂眠。

Regarding "'Increasing in adherence in two ways' means [...] because they increase torpor": this explains the meaning of "following" (anu/sui). "Increasing in adherence in two ways" means: first, being able to follow and increase torpor with respect to the dharmas that are their objects; second, being able to follow and increase torpor with respect to the dharmas that are associated with them. "Torpor" refers to dormancy.
