「又具二緣至識二緣生」者，釋二故。經說二緣能生於識，明知去、來二世實有。

Regarding "Furthermore, possessing two conditions ... consciousness arises from two conditions": this explains "because of two". The sūtra states that two conditions can produce consciousness; one clearly knows that the two periods of past and future are substantially existent.
