20.69

「若去來無至及離繫耶」者，說一切有部難。過、未實有，可得說有能繫、所繫及與離繫。若去、來無，如何可說有能繫、所繫及離繫耶？

"If past and future are non-existent ... and liberation from bondage?": this is an objection by the Sarvāstivāda. "If past and future are substantially existent, one can speak of that which binds, that which is bound, and liberation from bondage. If past and future are non-existent, how can one speak of that which binds, that which is bound, and liberation from bondage?"
