20.84

「謂欲界繫至十一識緣」者，答。應知三界見滅、道斷，各增自部有漏緣識。欲界滅、道五增至六，色界滅、道八增至九，無色界滅、道十增至十一，思之可知。

"Namely, those bound to the desire realm... cognized by eleven cognitions": this is the reply. It should be known that what is abandoned by seeing nirodha and seeing mārga across the three realms each adds the cognition cognizing sāsrava [phenomena] of its own category. For nirodha and mārga of the desire realm, five increases to six; for nirodha and mārga of the form realm, eight increases to nine; for nirodha and mārga of the formless realm, ten increases to eleven; one can understand this by reflection.
