21.19

「諸得預流至斷三結耶」者，釋第四句問。諸得預流，五見及疑六煩惱斷，何緣經但說斷身見、戒取、疑三結耶？

Regarding 'Why is it said that all who attain stream-entry... have abandoned three fetters?', this explains the question in the fourth pāda. For all who attain stream-entry, six afflictions—the five views and doubt—are abandoned; for what reason does the sūtra state only the abandonment of the three fetters of identity view, attachment to rules and rituals, and doubt?
