「謂彼頌言至此說苦集諦」者，釋。引前〈界品〉頌答。問：〈界品〉頌云無漏謂道諦，何故今引乃云聖道？解云：聖道、道諦，名異義同，依義牒文，不相違也。

Regarding "'That is, that verse says' up to 'here these are called the truths of suffering and origination'": this is the explanation. It quotes the verse from the preceding "Chapter on the Dhātus" in reply. Question: The verse in the "Chapter on the Dhātus" says that the uncontaminated refers to the truth of the path; why does the present quotation say "the noble path"? Explanation: "Noble path" and "truth of the path" have different names but the same meaning; citing the text according to its meaning involves no contradiction.
