「已說見修至離八地向三」者，此下第二依位建立。就中，一依十五心立、二依第十六心立。此即第一依十五心立。就生起中，一總生起、二別生起。及頌可知。

"Having explained darśana and bhāvanā [...] one who has detached from the eight stages is directed toward the third": below this is the second [section], establishing [noble persons] based on stages. Within this: first, establishing them based on the fifteen moments of mind; second, establishing them based on the sixteenth moment of mind. This is the first, establishing them based on the fifteen moments of mind. In introducing the text: first, a general introduction; second, a specific introduction. Both these and the verse can be understood.
