「性相違故至能害怨命」者，有餘師釋：雖世第一與異生性同是世間，性相違故能捨異生性，亦無有失。如上怨肩能害怨命，二人雖復同是世間，性相違故，一能害怨。

"Because their natures are contrary ... can take the enemy's life": Other masters explain: Although the worldly supreme dharma and the state of being an ordinary person are both worldly, because their natures are contrary to each other, it can abandon the state of being an ordinary person, and there is no fault. It is like mounting an enemy's shoulders to take the enemy's life: although both persons are worldly, because their natures are contrary, one can slay the enemy.
