Regarding "The entity of liberation is twofold [...] it is the liberation skandha": this explains the next four lines. It explains generally that liberation has two kinds, which can be understood from the text. Between the two liberations, saṃskṛta liberation is called an aśaikṣa limb, because the designation of 'limb' is based on the conditioned (saṃskṛta). Because asaṃskṛta liberation lacks the function of a limb, it is not established based on that. Within the saṃskṛta, the liberation subsumed under the limbs is further twofold, as stated in another sūtra: first, liberation of mind; second, liberation by wisdom. These are precisely the resolve (adhimokṣa) concomitant with mind and with wisdom. It should be understood that these two are subsumed under the liberation skandha among the fivefold dharmakāya.
