Regarding "The one of falling-away dharma ... that one definitely has no falling away": this individually explains the distinct differences among the six lineages. "Falling-away dharma" means that upon encountering minor conditions one immediately falls away from what was attained; it is not that those of deliberating dharma and the rest fall away upon encountering minor conditions. "Deliberating dharma" means that out of fear of falling away from the virtues obtained, one strikes one's head with a knife and constantly deliberates on killing oneself. "Guarding dharma" means that because of fear of falling away from what was attained, one takes joy in guarding oneself. "Abiding dharma" means that apart from powerful conditions for falling away, even without guarding oneself one does not fall away; and apart from superior preparatory effort, one also does not advance; mostly abiding in one's own position, it is called "abiding." "Capable-of-advancement dharma" means that one's nature is capable and well-suited to practicing the training of faculties to quickly reach the immovable. "Immovable dharma" means that because one is not moved into falling away, that one definitely has no falling away.
