28.12

「若爾即心至餘心所法」者，經部難。若專一緣，即此心王專一境位，依之建立三摩地名，不應別有餘心所法說名等持。經部依心假立定故。

"If so, it is simply the mind… another mental factor": this is an objection by the Sautrāntika. If it is single-minded focus on an object, then this state of the primary mind being focused on a single object is what the name samādhi is established upon; there should not be a separate other mental factor called samādhi. This is because the Sautrāntika designates samādhi nominally on the basis of mind.
