「由此故說至如理應思」者，初對第二，四句可知。以初對三、四，以二對三、四，以三對四，思之可知，故言餘支相對如理應思。

"Therefore it is said: '... should be contemplated in accordance with reason'" means: comparing the first [dhyāna] with the second, the four alternatives can be understood. Comparing the first with the third and fourth, the second with the third and fourth, and the third with the fourth, can be understood through contemplation; therefore it is said that comparing the remaining factors should be contemplated in accordance with reason.
