「又於彼部至經決判故」者，論主復徵。又於彼部，豈無此經謂一切法皆非我性？若彼犢子意謂此我與所依法不一不異故，說一切所依五蘊法皆非我。破云：既爾，應非意識所識，二緣生識經決判故。若我生意識，應從三緣生。

Regarding "Furthermore, in that school ... because it is decisively determined by sūtras": the author of the treatise questions again. Furthermore, in that school, is there not this sūtra stating that all dharmas are not of the nature of a self? If that Vātsīputrīya means that this self is neither identical with nor different from the dharmas on which it relies, and therefore says that all five skandha dharmas that are relied upon are not the self, then he refutes them: "If that were so, it should not be cognized by mental consciousness, because it is decisively determined by sūtras that consciousness is produced by two conditions. If the self produced mental consciousness, it would be produced from three conditions."
