「頌曰至人起定成三」者，就此頌中，初句標名舉數，次一句顯唯有四，次兩句出體，次三句明行相，次一句明所緣，次兩句明所依，次一句明不斷惑，後一句明處及成。

"From 'The verse says' up to 'humans generate, concentrations accomplish three'": within this verse, the first line states the names and gives the count; the next line shows that there are only four; the next two lines present the essential nature; the next three lines explain the mental aspects; the next line explains the objects; the next two lines explain the basis; the next line explains non-severance of afflictions; the final line explains the realm and accomplishment.
