"The last two totalities [...] take the four aggregates as their objective field": this explains the lower two lines. The last two totalities, in order, have the two pure formless [absorptions] of [infinite] space and [infinite] consciousness as their intrinsic nature. Because the first eight directly remedy greed, their intrinsic nature takes non-greed as its substance. The last two contemplate only space and consciousness, and thus have the formless as their intrinsic nature. Each takes the four aggregates of its own stage as its objective field, and through imaginative contemplation forms the comprehension of boundless space or the comprehension of boundless consciousness. Furthermore, the Nyāyānusāra says: "Why are only ten called 'totalities'? Because above these there is no further aspect of all-pervading activity. Only in the fourth dhyāna, [infinite] space, and [infinite] consciousness can it be said that there is an aspect of boundless activity."
