「契經說故至乃至廣說」者，說一切有部師答，引聖教證得有別體。十無學法，謂八支聖道，及正智、正解脫。五支，謂五順上分結。以之言由，聖者於彼十無學法，由生由得由成就故，已斷五支，乃至廣說。經言得成，明知別有實物。

Regarding 'Because sūtra says... up to extensive discourse': the Sarvāstivāda master replies, citing holy teaching to prove that acquisition has a distinct entity. The 'ten dharmas of an aśaikṣa' refer to the eight branches of the noble path, together with right knowledge and right liberation. The 'five branches' refer to the five fetters pertaining to the higher realms. 'By' means 'because of': because a noble one, through the arising, acquisition, and possession of those ten dharmas of an aśaikṣa, has severed the five branches, up to the extensive discourse. Since the sūtra speaks of 'acquiring' and 'possessing', one clearly knows that there is distinctly an actual entity.
