「謂曾未生至名異生性」者，經部答。謂曾未生聖法，相續身上分位差別，假立異生性。
"Namely, having never yet arisen... is called ordinary-being-nature": this is the Sautrāntika reply. It means that ordinary-being-nature is nominally designated on the distinct state of the continuum of a person in whom noble dharmas have never yet arisen.
