「應言彼識業為能持」者，經部解。應言：彼識，業為能持。為難所逼，故復轉計。
On [the text reading]: "It should be said that for that consciousness, karma is able to sustain it": The Sautrāntika explains: It should be said that for that consciousness, karma is able to sustain it. Being pressed by the objection, they therefore shift their assertion again.
