「有別實物名為同分」，此即標宗。謂諸有情，顯所依法展轉類等，顯能依同分。或諸有情展轉類等，此即舉果以顯其因，令諸有情展轉類等。

"There is a distinct real entity called commonality (sabhāgatā)": this presents the thesis. "All sentient beings" indicates the supported phenomena; "reciprocally similar in kind" indicates the supporting commonality. Or, "all sentient beings being reciprocally similar in kind" adduces the effect to reveal its cause, which causes all sentient beings to be reciprocally similar in kind.
