「有餘部執至此義亦成」者，有餘大眾部等執第四靜慮亦有滅定，生意成天。依彼所執，滅定無退，此義亦成。彼謂凡夫得第四定尚能入無想定，況聖人得第四定而不能入滅盡定耶？

Regarding "Other schools maintain... this meaning is also established": other schools such as the Mahāsāṃghika hold that the fourth dhyāna also contains the absorption of cessation, and one takes birth among the devas of mind-made bodies. According to what they maintain, the absorption of cessation lacks retrogression, and this meaning is also established. They maintain: if ordinary persons who attain the fourth dhyāna can still enter the absorption without thought, how much more so could noble persons who attain the fourth dhyāna not enter the absorption of cessation?
