「故《品類足》至所感異熟」者，此下引證。總引《品類足》三處文為證。此即初文。彼論既言「云何見所斷為因法？謂諸染污法。」聖者自身中修斷染法，既是染污法攝，明知見斷法通與一切染污為因，及見所斷法所感異熟果亦以見斷為因。此即同文故來。

Regarding "Therefore, the Prakaraṇapāda... the maturation brought about": next is citing proof. In total, passages from three places in the Prakaraṇapāda are cited as proof. This is the first passage. Since that treatise says, "What are the dharmas that have what is abandoned by seeing as their cause? It refers to all defiled dharmas"; and since the defiled dharmas to be abandoned by cultivation within the person of a noble one are subsumed under defiled dharmas, it is clear that what is abandoned by seeing serves generally as a cause for all defiled dharmas, and the result of maturation brought about by what is abandoned by seeing also takes what is abandoned by seeing as its cause. This is introduced because it is in the same text.
