「如是六因至非世」者，此即第三約世分別。頌既不說能作因所居，義准應知通三世、非世。《正理》云「不可說彼定時分故，頌中不說。」

Regarding 'Such six causes […] not belonging to the time-periods': this is the third [section], differentiating in terms of time-periods. Since the verse does not state the temporal location of the kāraṇa-hetu, by implication one should know that it encompasses the three time-periods and what does not belong to the time-periods. The Nyāyānusāra says: 'Because one cannot designate its fixed temporal division, it is not mentioned in the verse.'
