「若爾道果至非於擇滅」者，問。若爾，道果應唯是彼擇滅上得。道於彼得，有能引生，非於擇滅，以體常故。

Regarding 'If so, the result of the path […] and not to pratisamākhyā-nirodha': question. If so, the result of the path should only be the attainment belonging to that pratisamākhyā-nirodha. The path has the ability to induce and generate that attainment, but not pratisamākhyā-nirodha, because its essence is eternal.
