「本論說故至皆應廣說」者，引本論證自類前生與後為因。問：未來生相如何非是前生攝耶？解云？雖至生相，未越未來。約世定前後，是故非前攝。

On "Because the root treatise says [...] all should be extensively explained": this cites the root treatise to prove that the previously arisen of its own kind serves as a cause for what is subsequent. Question: How is the characteristic of arising in the future not included under 'previously arisen'? The explanation says: although it reaches the characteristic of arising, it has not surpassed the future. Determining prior and posterior is done in terms of the time periods; therefore, it is not included under 'previous.'
