「若欲差別至不俱起者」者，牒外道轉計。生人、天等不同，名差別欲。若言此差別欲，非唯自在為因，更待餘因，所以不俱起者。
"If the distinction of desires... up to ...do not arise together": cites the non-Buddhist's modified position. Producing humans, devas, and so forth differently is called distinct desires. If it is said that these distinct desires do not take only Īśvara as their cause, but further await other causes, and therefore do not arise together:
