「前已總說至今當定說」者，此下大文第二別明等無間。就中，一明諸心相生、二明得心多少。此下明諸心相生，牒前問起。「何心無間有幾心生」，問能生幾心。「復從幾心有何心起」，問從幾心生。

Regarding "Having previously explained in general... it will now be determined": below, this is the second major section, which specifically clarifies the immediately preceding condition (samanantara-pratyaya). Within this, there are two parts: first, clarifying the mutual arising of the various minds; second, clarifying the number of minds attained. Below clarifies the mutual arising of the various minds, citing the previous text to raise the question. "Immediately following which mind do how many minds arise?" asks how many minds it can produce. "Again, from how many minds does which mind arise?" asks from how many minds it arises.
