"What is said in this way [...] because there is no difference" onwards is the author's refutation. Although in terms of time there are differences of near, middle, and distant, in that form realm in terms of place the movement has no difference. That is, dying in the desire realm, one receives the intermediate existence of the form realm, and from here to that near, middle, or distant place one proceeds quickly to take birth; because movement does not stop, the movement varies according to the place. This can be compared to a spark being near, middle, or distant, yet the movement in that place has no difference. Even granting that "midway near the heaven" is divided into three types, could it be that having been born there one is constantly moving without stopping like that intermediate existence? Therefore, it does not correspond at all to the metaphor of the spark with its distinctions of near, middle, and distant.
