「二釋於經至為證不成」者，論主云：彼此二釋理竝無違，如何偏證中有是無？凡引證言不通異趣。此有異趣，為證不成。

Regarding the passage: "Both interpretations of the sūtra... cannot be established as proof": The author of the treatise says: Both interpretations are equally non-contradictory in principle; why uniquely prove that the intermediate state does not exist? Whenever a proof text is cited, it must not admit of a different interpretation. Since here there is a different interpretation, it cannot be established as proof.
