8.66

「不爾趣義至即死生故」者，異說通難。趣是所往，中有是能往，不可說能往是所往趣，即死處生故。

"Not so; the meaning of a destiny [...] taking birth in that place of death": resolving the objection according to a different opinion. A destiny is that which is gone to, whereas the intermediate state is that which can go; it cannot be said that that which can go is the destiny gone to, for it takes birth right in the place of death.
