「我今略顯至及我慢執」者，答。謂諸愚夫於從緣生法，不知唯有五蘊諸行，妄起我見。由我見故，復起我慢。不知，即是無明支也。

"I shall now briefly show... and the grasp of conceit ('I am')": the reply. That is, foolish ordinary beings, with respect to things arisen from conditions, do not know that there are only the five skandhas and saṃskāras, and falsely give rise to the view of self. Due to the view of self, they further give rise to the conceit ('I am'). Not knowing is precisely the limb of ignorance.
