「如是純言至諸苦蘊生」者，上來經部出十二支體，復釋經文如是純大苦蘊集。以經言無明緣行乃至生緣老死，如是純大苦蘊集。所以便釋。

"Such a word 'only'... the whole mass of suffering arises": above, the Sautrāntikas identified the substantial nature of the twelve limbs, and they now further explain the sūtra text: 'thus does this whole great mass of suffering arise.' Since the sūtra says, 'Conditioned by ignorance are formations... up to conditioned by birth are old age and death; thus does this whole great mass of suffering arise,' he immediately explains it.
