9.64

「今為遮彼至故有輪無初」者，此即正遮。前頌明無有我，但由惑業而得入胎。後頌顯相續不斷，有輪無初。

"Now, in order to refute them […] therefore the wheel of existence has no beginning": this is the direct refutation. The preceding verse clarifies that there is no self, and that entry into the womb is attained solely by affliction and karma. The subsequent verse shows that the continuum is unbroken, and the wheel of existence has no beginning.
