建久二十一十一日於三井寺南，此疏一部卅軸，是東南覺僧都深得對法之□□搜諸師意，讀難讀、訓難訓，而所切句付假名之點本也。誠是一寺規模、萬代寶物也。然當卷本自缺了，爰予悲法命漸盡，不顧鳥跡，所寫加也。雖然寫本文字極狼藉也，少少雖直之，多多謬難盡歟。隨後覽可直之。

On the 21st day of the 11th month in the Kenkyū era, to the south of Miidera: this single commentary of thirty scrolls was one in which the Senior Monastic Director (Sōzu) of Tōnan-in deeply grasped the Abhidharma [...], investigated the views of various masters, read what was difficult to read, glossed what was difficult to gloss, and added punctuation marks with kana glosses. Truly it is a model for the entire monastery and a treasure for ten thousand generations. However, this scroll was originally missing from the text; hereupon, lamenting that the life of the Dharma is gradually coming to an end and paying no heed to my clumsy handwriting, I have copied and added it. Although the characters of the copy are extremely disorderly, and while I have corrected a few, it may be hard to exhaust the many errors. Subsequent readers may correct them as they see fit.
