論「彼識所依至所依止義」，即眼識所依名眼根，乃至身識所依名身根也。
The treatise says: "The support of that consciousness... the meaning of support"; that is, the support of the eye-consciousness is called the eye faculty, up to the support of the body-consciousness is called the body faculty.
