論「約處自相至斯有何失」，答也。五識身等非緣十二處中共相，如無常等。同一處中體事不同，非唯緣一。

The commentary states: "In terms of the particular characteristics of the sensory spheres... what flaw is there in this?" This is the answer. The bodies of the five consciousnesses, etc., do not apprehend common characteristics among the twelve sensory spheres, such as impermanence and the like. Within the same sensory sphere, the real entities differ, so they do not apprehend only a single [characteristic].
