論「既言無表至大種云何」，自下兩頌因論生論，明四大也。文中有二：初一行頌明真四大、第二行頌述假四大。此第一明真四大也。

The Śāstra says: "Having spoken of the unmanifest... what are the primary elements?" The following two verses generate an inquiry from the treatise, clarifying the four great elements. There are two parts: the first single verse clarifies the real four great elements, and the second single verse states the conventional four great elements. This is the first, clarifying the real four great elements.
