論「豈不識蘊至復為意界」，自下第四有十二行頌，問答分別。文中有十一段，此第一問意界也。前半頌問意體，後半頌問意數。此問體也。

Regarding the commentary statement from "Is it not that the consciousness skandha" up to "again becomes the mind dhātu?": from here down there are twelve stanzas of question-and-answer analysis. Within the text there are eleven sections; this is the first, asking about the mind dhātu. The first half of the stanza asks about the essence of mind; the second half asks about the number of minds. This asks about the essence.
