「論曰至乃至非識」，此長行釋。文中有二：一不可攝在色等蘊中，非色等故；二不可別立為第六蘊，無蘊義故。此文初也。

[On the quote:] “The *Śāstra* says: … up to: not consciousness,” this is the prose explanation. Within the text there are two parts: first, they cannot be subsumed within the skandhas of form and so forth, because they are not form and so forth; second, they cannot be separately established as a sixth skandha, because they lack the meaning of skandha. This passage is the first.
