1.56

論「論謂傳生無漏慧教」者，即是六足、《發智》等論，因教起聞，因聞有思，因思有修，因修有勝義對法，故云傳生無漏慧教。

The Śāstra says: 'Treatise refers to the teaching that indirectly produces uncontaminated wisdom.' This refers to the six pada-śāstras, the Jñānaprasthāna, and other treatises: relying on the teaching, hearing arises; relying on hearing, there is contemplation; relying on contemplation, there is cultivation; relying on cultivation, there is ultimate abhidharma. Therefore it says: 'the teaching that indirectly produces uncontaminated wisdom'.
