「頌曰說對法」，舉頌答。頌有四句，前三句全，第四句因此兩字答說意也。「傳佛」兩字答先說人。「說對法」三字雙答兩問。

"The verse states: 'Speaking the Abhidharma ...'": the verse is cited in answer. The verse has four lines: the first three lines in full and the two words [yena / "because"] in the fourth line answer the intention behind preaching it. The two words "the Buddha tradition" answer who the original speaker was. The three words "speaking the Abhidharma" answer both questions together.
